Description
Breather Valve
The original breather valve system makes a lot of noise when the bike is idling. Replacement with this newer style reed valve can eliminate that.
The breather valve is located under the starter cover. The original version on early models consists of a fiber disk on a shaft held in place with a spring. As crankcase pressure builds, the disk is pushed up against spring pressure and the vapors are released into the air filter housing.
This reed valve type valve is an upgrade replacement for the old disk style breather valve and a direct replacement for all newer models.
Fits all models years R 2Valve Twins.

Found this after watching their video on restoring the R90/6. Hey, my bike makes that noise! Followed their video; popped the old one out and the new one slid right into place.
