Fuel Cap 'Monza'

The Monza fuel cap is nothing short of a work of art. It fits /7 and later fuel tanks with recessed screw in caps. This is an excellent finishing touch for a vintage or cafe racer conversion. The part is perfectly machined of aluminum and it has either a beautiful polished satin finish or a high-gloss chrome finish.

The lower base is screwed into the tank, replacing the original fuel cap and the upper portion (cap) screws to the base. Neoprene gaskets are provided at the connection locations. To open the cap, simply depress the spring loaded button and swing the lid open. Push down to shut. Note that this fuel cap cannot be locked.

NOTE: Once the base is installed, apply a thread locking fluid to the gas cap threads, screw into place, then position at the angle you would like it to sit. Wait until the thread locking agent has fully engaged with the threads prior to use.
