Gearbox Flange Puller

Gearbox output shaft puller for 4 and 5 speed gearboxes: for the withdrawal of drive shaft coupling flange from the transmission.

The puller is produced by Matra, who also produced the original, small-batch, specialty tools for BMW. This is a perfect replica tool of the original, Matra tool number 501-701.

Gear Flange Puller tool

This is a great tool. It made the flange removal on the transmission output drive simple. Using a breaker bar I was able to remove the flange with ease. As a bonus I was able to install the seal behind the flange using the same tool.
