Description
Low Handlebar GS
This is a great alternative to the very expensive original BMW GS handlebar. It has the nearly the same bend as the original R100 GS bar but it's about 25mm ( 1 in.) lower and 5cm ( 2 in.) longer than the original. This gives you a bit more leverage and better control. The bar has been tested and approved by the strict German TÜV.
Made in Italy by Tommaselli.
The bar can also be installed on R1100 and R115 GS models.
Note: This is a 22mm black bar, not a 7/8" bar. 22mm is the correct size for BMW motorcycles and though 7/8" seems close to 22mm, it's in fact slightly larger and the controls will not fit.
This handlebar is not drilled for heated grips. You can still install heated grips but you will need to drill the appropriate holes.

Bought these for an R90/6 resto-mod semi-dual sport that I'm building and they bolted on easily and have a thick powder coat. But therein lies the issue: When I mounted the hand controls, the throttle tube was dragging quite a bit on the bar, even when properly greased. Some quick work with various abrasive papers to thin the coating a mm or so, and now all good. In defense of the product, it is not designed for tis year / model!

Not only were the bars perfect but they shipped them out very safely packed. Everything they do is perfect and I could not service my R75/6 without WunderlichAmerica. Glad you have such passion for your business, customers, and BMW’s.

Put these bars on my R80/7 and it really transformed the bike. Great bend and feel to these bars. Good quality and light weight.
