Air Filter Eliminator 80 & Later

This cast aluminum starter cover is perfect for custom BMW conversions. This cover replaces square air filter housing covers and it gives the boxer motor a stunning, classic look. With this cover, the air filter is eliminated, so you will need to also install individual air filters or the aluminum Trumpets that we also offer. Our engine breather catch can (part # 1114262 ) fits under this cover and can be connected directly to the pressure relief valve of the engine. Alternatively, a battery pack with 7.5 AH can be mounted under this cover.
