I made the error of relying on the picture on the website which is not the item being supplied. The item shipped is the smaller of two Airhawks designated by the maker as pillion seats- they call it a cruiser pillion. It is 11" deep, 9" wide and rectangular in shape. The item pictured on the Wunderlich website is apparently what Airhawk calls a medium cruiser and 14" deep, 14" wide and shaped as shown in the photo on the website. Wunderlich should correct the website to show the item being sold to eliminate this confusion. Airhawks work well- I am returning the pillion seat and will order the medium cruiser.
