I appreciate having this manual as an additional resource. However, it is not nearly as complete or descriptive as the Clymer manual, the print and photos are tiny and it seems to assume that you have been trained already by BMW and therefore does not give complete information. It does have some info and pictures not in the Clymer. So... If you can only have one manual get the Clymer, but if you plan on doing a lot of work in the future and would like as much information as possible (as in my case) then it would be helpful to add this to your reference library.

If you're buying it for mechanical reference you can do a lot better than this for a much cheaper price. If you like illustrations that look like they were printed with the 1962 mimeograph machine that came out of a poorly printed newspaper this is your repair Manual. And if you like where their explaining about the transmission in one part of the book later on as you're looking through front suspension you find the rest of the transmission explanation. That's right they don't even have this book in proper order at least the one that I received wasn't Do yourself a favor by two clymer manuals you can keep one in the bathroom and one in the garage and probably still come out cheaper and have a much deeper index of knowledge to delve into. And that's my opinion.
