Fuel Cap /7 and Later, With Key

A replacement fuel cap has not been available from BMW for quite some time. This nicely made reproduction is now available!

Compared to the original, the bottom part is made of plastic, not steel. This however has it's benefits as there is no corrosion.

The cap is supplied complete, ready to install and with two keys. The outer ring, which was originally sold separately, is also included and pre-installed.

My R75/7 fuel cap was missing the key. I’ve heard horror stories about not locking them and having to drill and put a screw in them. I bought this reproduction fuel cap, and it looks stock, but works great. The plastic threads screw in smoothly and the lock works great. I can now lock my fuel cap with the confidence it will un-lock as it should.
