Having the right tool makes the job fun. If you are going to change spark plugs where the plug is deep in the head, then this is the right tool. A strong magnet holds the plug securely in the socket. No nightmare of having the socket separate from the extension deep in the head. Or having to modify the rubber keeper on a non-magnetic socket to make it work with your plug. Or better yet having the rubber keeper stay on the spark plug after installing. Do the right thing and get yourself one of these in 14mm and 16mm (5/8"). The knurling makes starting the plug into the head correctly a simple and easy affair. The 3/8" drive is there to permit proper torque/angle torque. You owe it to your self to do the right thing, reduce your frustration make the job easier. Now go and purchase one or more today! -Mr. Subjective.

This socket is perfect, so I ended up buying two of them. I have one in my bike's on-board tool kit as well as one in my tool box. It is the right length and size to easily get into the spark plug for easy removal and installation.
