This is the pinion seal that fits all 2 valve boxer models beginning with /5 except those with a Paralever rear suspension.

BMW Part number 33 12 1 231 542

To replace this seal, you will need the pinion nut removal tool, part number 7224400

Also order part number 3312302 which is a gasket ring that will need to be replaced.
