Power Kit Extra, 81-on
All R80 models produced after 9/1980
More power and torque for all R80 models (from 1981 Model Year). This kit will increase your bike's displacement to 1000cc and add about 10 more horsepower plus an additional 30% more torque. The kit includes brand new Nikasil cylinders, stainless pushrod tubes and specially shaped pistons, so there is no need to modify or change your cylinder heads. The kit also includes piston rings and wrist pins.
An increase of power to 60 hp/44 kW at R80G/S, R80ST, R80GS, R80Basic, R80R und R80Mystic to 60 PS/44 kW, at R80 und R80RT to 64 PS/47 kW.
Please Note: The gaskets are not included. We offer a complete gasket set under part number 1100101 which must be ordered separately. See Related Items tab.

A long time I was thinking to upgrade my cylinder to this kit. Today I did it. It was easy to mount and the video from Bill helped a lot. After I broke in the cylinder and went for a ride with my wife in the mountains I can say it’s amazing. So much more torque and power thats amazing. It really transformed my 1986 R80 in a more modern bike. I really recommend it to everyone!
