I broke the original pin which is fastened quite weakly to the seat pan off. This was a great solution for my problem. It took about 10 minutes to complete the repair.

Although this is not supposed to fit my R90/6 I took a risk as I had just bought my bike and the part was missing. I had nothing to compere it too, but it looked the same as the photos I could find. It seems to fit perfectly. I had to replace the threaded hole in my seat with a M8 Rivnut as the thread had stripped.
