Stainless Steel Battery Tray, Black, Large
Not too many battery boxes have survived all these years intact. We have seen the results of battery acid, made worse by missing vent/overflow tubes. Sometimes the threaded posts are corroded down to nothing and so you no longer can attach the hold down.
This very accurate reproduction part is far superior to the original BMW part in that it is made of stainless steel. It's beautifully powder coated with the correct sheen. The best part is that you will find that this part is actually cheaper than the BMW part.

Battery tray comes with top bracket and nut. Description did not say this so I bought a bracket that I don't even need. Please update description.
