Stainless Steel Front Axle, 17mm 1975-84
After 09/74 production
The elements and years of wheel removals for tire changes, fixing flats, etc. take their toll on the axles. Often the chrome has chipped off and rust has set in.
Better than new crispness can be restored to your bike with one of the stainless steel axels! Stainless will retain it's appearance for ever and rust and flaking chrome will be a thing of the past.
Fits all models with 17mm front axle. .

This is the same measurements as the original. I like the fact its stainless... no more rust. Yes it shines up very nicely!

A really beautiful part. High polish finish and stainless steel so it should stay that way with little effort. Fit just like my old rusty stock axle. Now I just have to make the rest of the bike look this good. Availability of a matching stainless steel nut and washer would be a plus.
