This is a great alternative to the original BMW cable at a fraction of the cost! If you are looking for functionality and not necessarily originality, then this cable is a good option.

Sold each. Two required. Fits all models from 1970 through 1978 with low handlebars and 32mm carbs. Equivalent to BMW part number to 32 73 1 236 612 ( 32731236612 )

Also used as the left/right throttle cable for R45/R65 to 9/80 with Low handlebars equivalent to BMW part # 32 73 1 237 691 ( 32731237691 )

These cables although low in price performed well. Throttle action is as smooth as original cables that were on the bike and no birds nest that is associated in switching to low bars. I am satisfied.
