This regulator is housed in an old fashion style metal housing but the internals are modern solid state components, so you'll get better than new performance and reliability with the classic look that will make you smile whenever the tank comes off..

This electronically managed regulator will get the most out of the Boxer charging system. Even at low 3000 rpm it will produce14.5 V (provided the rest of the charging system is in good condition). Very tough construction.

This part will fit all models from /5 onward and it is optically correct in all models up to 1981.
