Swing Arm Pivot Cap, Smooth Finish

Many people might not know this, but the swingarm pivot caps on /5 and /6 models had a smooth finish. Sometime around 1977, the grained finish swingarm caps were introduced and they replaced the smooth caps.It's likely that the swingarm caps were replaced at some point in time and you may not have the technically correct version for your bike!

The smooth finish caps have not been available from BMW for decades but we have both styles! If you want your /5, /6 or R90 S to be that much closer to perfect, then these are the correct caps. They will fit all later models too!
