Final Drive Seal Kit for 1981-1984

Boxer2valve's Final drive Seal Kit contains all the gaskets & seals you will need to re-seal your final drive on your classic BMW 2 valve airhead.  This kit is specifically for 1981 & 1984 models.

Please note:Does not fit R80 G/S or R80 ST models.

This kit includes the following:

Final Drive Cover Gasket

Fits all 1981 to 1984 models excluding the R80 G/S & R80 ST.

Equivalent to 33 11 2 311 097

Final Drive Output Seal 30x42x7

If your final drive is leaking on the right side, then this seal needs to be replaced. It's also a good idea to replace it in any case, when the final drive is apart for any reason.

Equivalent to BMW Part Number 33 12 3 004 337

Fits all dual shock models from /5 through 1984 models (those with a rear axle shaft). Does not fit Monolever or Paralever models.

Final Drive Seal

Top quality replacement seal for the (out put) final drive cover of all dual swingarm twins from 1970 through 1985. Does not fit Monolever or Paralever models.

Pinion Shaft Seal

This is the pinion seal that fits all 2 valve boxer models beginning with /5 except those with a Paralever rear suspension.

To replace this seal, you will need the pinion nut removal tool, part number 7224400

Also order part number 3312302 which is a gasket ring that will need to be replaced.

Gasket Ring for Pinion

This gasket is located beneath the pinion nut. It should always be replaced when the pinion nut is removed for any reason.

Applicable for all 2 valve twins beginning with /6 models except Paralever models.

Aluminum Seal Rings

These are high quality aluminum seal rings to fit the most common drain bolts and fittings. It's good to have an assortment of these on hand so that you are can properly re-seal the drain bolts and fittings when performing maintenance on your bike.
