Ignition Seal Strip 1977-1978

Ignition Seal Strip 1977-1978 (3.8mm version)

This seal strip fits in the groove around the ignition points and seals out dirt and moisture. It is a good idea to replace this part when replacing the points or if it appears to be damaged. There are two versions of this part. To determine which version is needed, measure the seal gap as pictured

• Approx. 2.5mm /5 models and /6, R90S (up to 1976 , 1114394)
  
• Approx. 3.8mm /7 models 1977-1978
  

Tip: After removing the old seal and cleaning the groove, apply some rubber glue to the strip and press into place, then trim off the excess.
