Ignition Seal Strip up to 1976

Ignition Seal Strip up to 1976 (2.5mm version)

This seal strip fits in the groove around the ignition points and seals out dirt and moisture. It is a good idea to replace this part when replacing the points or if it appears to be damaged. There are two versions of this part. To determine which version is needed, measure the seal gap as pictured

• Approx. 2.5mm /5 models and /6, R90S (up to 1976 )
• Approx. 3.8mm /7 models 1977-1978 (1114644)
  

Tip: After removing the old seal and cleaning the groove, apply some rubber glue to the strip and press into place, then trim off the excess.
