Description
Low Handlebar /5, /6, /7
This is a reproduction of European low bar installed on /6 and /7 models. It is slightly narrower than the S bar and has just a bit less rise. This offers a nice sporty riding position and a narrow, trim look.
Made in Germany.
Note: This is a 22mm chrome plated bar, not a 7/8" bar. 22mm is the correct size for BMW motorcycles and though 7/8" seems close to 22mm, it's in fact slightly larger and the controls will not fit.
This handlebar is not drilled for heated grips. You can still install heated grips but you will need to drill the appropriate holes.

Doug Shaw was excellent as I paid for 2 handlebars instead of one (my error), and he arranged the refund. He also sent the handlebar to NZ where the bike is stored. I would recommend boxer 2 valve.

Quick turn around on receiving the low bar instead of the S bar due to a mix up from a previous order for the same bar. No problem, quick exchange! First S bar of last winter was no problem. This S bar, I was not able to slide the lever assemblies on. This bar had a ridge on the ends, preventing assembly. Removed the ridge and the assemblies slid on with ease. This is inconsistant with the first S bar received earlier this year! A quality issue for me. Sincerely, Joe Linsalata
