Optimate 4 Battery Charger - Dual Program, Canbus Edition

The OptiMate 4 saves neglected, deep-discharged batteries that other smart chargers cannot. It is ideal for all AGM, GEL and standard filler cap batteries from 3 to 50Ah. It comes with a IP64 weatherproof sealed enclosure with built-in mounting option. The canbus edition is compatible with both conventional or CAN-bus motorcycle electrical systems. It can switch between STANDARD or CAN-bus programs with a simple five-step procedure (charger comes pre-programmed STANDARD for conventional electrical systems); you can switch programs as many times as you want. LED indication confirms the CAN-bus program is active.

Previously, when the battery in a CAN-bus system was fully charged and a charger moved into the maintenance program, the CAN-bus system would automatically disconnect the charging circuit and require intervention from the user to reactivate. With the OptiMate 4 DUAL PROGRAM, it is now possible to automatically charge and maintain CAN-bus equipped motorcycles via their convenient external 12V charging port, without use of the ignition key or reactivation (CAN-bus connection cord sold separately).

Provides optimal maintenance of your battery during long-term storage, achieved by its gentle maintenance cycle, which automatically allows the battery to rest for 30 minutes of each hour of the maintenance cycle while it remains connected
